A Different Time
The Lucky Piece
In search of History
One Thousand years ago, give or take a couple hundred, there was an epic hero known only as " The Lucky Bard ". During his vast and legendary wanderings his stories grew to such fantastical proportions that many people debate whether or not he actually was real, or if he was a god among mortals trying his best to serve as an example. Even though no one can agree on his looks, age, or even race there was always one constant. The Lucky Piece, said to have been gifted to the Bard by the old ones themselves, was the un-disputed source of the Bard’s good fortune. At long last there has been a clue leaked about the final resting place of The Lucky Bard, and if the legends are true the Piece as well. Deep in the unnamed forest East of the Eastern Crown there is an ancient graveyard that any locals will swear only exists in fables. In this graveyard there should be the Bard’s tomb, and with in all the riches he amassed over his extensive travels. Obtaining The Lucky Piece would mean fame and fortune to those who discovered and sold it, or unimaginable good luck to those who’ve decided to keep it in secret.
Out of curiosity I have chosen this campaign to play with multiple groups, just to see how differently things pan out in each story. Below is the list of the individual games.
